The 2nd single from the Phanerothyme was unedited version of the album track Go To California , down from a chunky 8mins to a radio-friendly 3mins.The accompanying video - Super8 holiday movie romp filmed on an island with the band sporting 19th century costumes, was a hoot and a half, and a band favourite. Originally this was a promo-only one-song CD single on Columbia Records and Stickman Records in 2001, but it was later released (with a cover of the MC5's Black To Comm from Roadwork 1 on the b-side) as a split double 7" with The Soundtracks Of Our Lives on Munster Records. This is that version.
